We would like to inform you that the following error was noticed after the release of version 2023.1 Release on 23rd November 2023 or 2022.2 P3 on 12th December 2023:
When printing in the Output Management System (OMS) via the “All printer spoolers” node, incorrect assignments of print jobs to the respective printer spoolers may occur.
This can happen if the jobs to be printed run via different spoolers. As the number of jobs in a job increases, the probability of the error behaviour occurring also increases. The behaviour occurs less frequently for smaller jobs, but cannot be ruled out.
As a workaround, the print function should not be used via the “All printer spoolers” node, but should instead be used for dedicated printing from the individual spoolers.
We have fixed the error and replaced the affected installation packages on our FTP server. For version 2023.1 Release the archive “2023.1 P00.00 Web+App-Server-Installation.zip” is affected, for version 2022.2 P3 the archive “2022.2 P03.00 Web+App-Server-Installation.zip“. If you have already downloaded the old package, please do not use it, but download the new package. The respective password is the same as the password of the original package. If you have already installed the update to the respective version with the old package, please only update the OMS application again with the updated package. No uninstallation is necessary. A simple execution of the “OMS Web+Application.exe” is sufficient.
