We would like to inform you that the following error was noticed after the release of version 2023.1 Release on 23.11.2023:
When uploading a file multiple times during import or during the judicial dunning procedure, the message “Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation” appears. Restarting the FileServiceHost provides a short-term improvement until the error occurs again.
Customers who use multiple app servers are not affected. Likewise, purely automated use of the FileServiceHost (e.g. with the help of the automation framework) is not affected.
We have fixed the error and replaced the installation package for the web/app server on our FTP server. Only the archive “2023.1 P00.00 Web+App-Server-Installation.zip” is affected. If you have already downloaded the old package, please do not use it, but download the new package. The password for the package is the same as for the original package. If you have already installed the update to version 2023.1 with the old package, please update the IKAROS app server again with the updated package only. No uninstallation is necessary. Simply run the “IKAROS Web+Application.exe”, select the edition and instance and then confirm all subsequent pages.
Customers who have already received e-patches from us will receive separate updates.
