Ferber-Software takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we collect which data and how we use it. We ensure technically and organizationally that the regulations on data protection contained in the EU-GDPR are adhered to by us.

Personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to determine your identity. This includes your name, address, postal address, telephone number. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of the online offer) is not included. You can use our online service without disclosing your identity. If you also wish to use our special customer area, this is only possible by providing your access data (user name and password), which then makes your identity identifiable.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing of personal data

Personal data is processed by us for the purpose of initiating business relationships, initiating employment relationships, carrying out pre-contractual measures, fulfilling contracts and complying with legal obligations. Personal data is not processed by us for the purpose of address trading.
The legal basis for data processing can be found in Article 6 paragraph (1) of the EU-GDPR.

Data categories and data origin

We process master data (e.g. first and last names, address, date of birth), communication data (telephone number, e-mail address), bank details, contract data, receivables data (including payment information, if applicable) and file numbers of registered permit holders. The data originates either from you personally, from your business partner companies or from public directories such as the legal service provider directory. If necessary, we enrich this data by researching other publicly accessible sources such as the telephone directory.

Storage and processing of personal data

We store your collected data on our server. Access to your data is only possible for authorized persons. These are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of the server. We monitor compliance with data protection regulations for the storage and processing of personal data.

After payment of outstanding claims or termination of the contractual relationship with you, we will check after three years whether we still need your data and whether a deletion is contrary to legal retention obligations. Your data will also be deleted if it originated from the legal service provider directory and has been deleted there.

Documents of applicants whose application has either been rejected by Ferber-Software, or who have withdrawn their application, will be deleted or destroyed (paper documents) on an annual basis.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Within the scope of fulfilling the purposes for which we collect personal data, we pass this data on to lawyers, notaries, banks, insurance companies, joint business partners, public authorities and subcontractors, insofar as their commissioning is contractually agreed. Insofar as we are obliged to do so by law or by court order, we will also pass on your data to the relevant bodies entitled to receive information.

Your rights as a data subject or data subject under data protection law

You are entitled to the following rights in accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the EU Data Protection Regulation if the legal requirements are met: the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of the processing of your data and data portability.

Rights of objection and revocation

According to the provisions of the EU-GDPR, you have extensive rights of objection and revocation. These are regulated in Art. 7 para. 3, Art. 13 para. 2, Art 14 para. 2 as well as Art. 21 para. 1.

Right of complaint to the supervisory authority

In accordance with Art. 77 EU-GDPR, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful. The address of the supervisory authority responsible for our company is:

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your data from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Use of cookies and tracking tools

To log in to the customer area of our website, it is necessary to use a cookie for technical reasons. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent. If you have deactivated this option in your browser, the login data you entered to log in to the customer area cannot be processed. You will then be denied access to the customer area.

We also use an analytic tool for the statistical evaluation of the number of visitors to our website. In this process, no personal allocations are created or stored! Via the cookies used for this purpose, visitor information (date, time, anonymized IP address, device information, browser information, page of origin, page views) is stored exclusively on our server.

If you do not want to be taken into account by the analytic tool, you have the possibility to activate the option “I do not want to be tracked” (Do-not-Track) in your browser.

Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with data protection regulations. Nor are we responsible for the content of the linked websites.
